Her first year as a Sentinel will push the limits of her resilience and put her own humanity to the test.

A note from the author:
Throughout the series, Amanda grows within her powers. The paranormal challenges she faces are an allegory for real life issues, such as discovering that love is not always enough to save someone. And that a narcissist can only be cured supernaturally! The Edge of Destiny starts out all fun and games, but skip to Chapter 12, because things take a turn and the real story begins.

She's so well-developed--strong and no-nonsense when it comes to fighting off the bad things, but also deeply vulnerable when it comes to matters of the heart, especially in her relationship with Alain, another really well-developed character. The settings are exotic, the action sequences are exciting, and the romance is sensual and hot. I definitely recommend this one and I'm excited to learn that a sequel is coming soon!"

This is the first book i have read from Valenti and The Diamond Rose did not disappoint my Paranormal Romance moving genre heart. What first caught my attention is the cover - it fuels my love for powers, and the dude in the photo- he just looked so captivating then the female seemed to sweet but also strong. I wanted to read it then i read the description and I HAD to read it. Valenti did a wonderful job creating an exciting, original world in The Diamond Rose that is around a group of paranormal warriors called Sentinels.

I was given a reviewer's copy of The Diamond Rose: A Sentinel 10 novel and am truly hooked! I am a huge fan of paranormal romance and this book blew me away. I read the entire novel within 24 hours of receiving it because I could not put it down. Valenti's plot is unique, combing psychic powers and secret societies with sprinkled with romantic sparks. All of the writing is very present-day and the protagonist Amanda is very easy to relate to as a modern women. I am eagerly waiting for the next book in the series!

Amanda and her best friend Lydia suddenly find themselves with powers they don't know how they got and don't fully understand. I enjoyed the writing style, but the book itself felt more YA to me than Adult. I also feel like it felt more fantasy romance than paranormal romance. So, i really see this book being appealing to older YA or new adult romance readers. It is a 250 page book so it's a pretty quick read. All in all not a bad start and a decent lead up to a book 2 (Daniela says in her acknowledgments that she's finishing up book 8 in the series 🤯) I want to thank @ireadbooktours and thr author for sending this my way in exchange for annhonest review.. Receiving books for review in no way changes my opinion of a book.

The book is about Amanda a medical graduate who alongwith her friend Lydia discover new powers. The book takes readers into the world of paranormal fiction, fantasy and romance. The book is a mix between the criminal minds and the mortal instruments series meeting the fifty shades of grey trilogy. Can't wait to find out what happens in the next book Crystal Skull!!!
