Every ten to eleven years, the Sun’s magnetic cycle reverses, and a massive solar flare triggers a change in individuals all over the world, igniting their psychic powers. This select group becomes the Sentinels, paranormal warriors in a secret society in existence since the Middle Ages.

On the surface of it, their task is to clean up malevolent energies left over from magical activity around the world. Some of the more powerful Sentinels thwart psychic assassinations and remove criminals engaged in psychic or supernatural methods—criminals that members of regular society are powerless against.

They are managed by the Committee, a group of violet-eyed, insanely powerful beings that provide the clout and funding needed for the Sentinels to complete their work. But the Committee prove to be far less benevolent than they initially seem.

To further complicate things, the Sentinels aren’t the only secret society out there. There are others that deal in magic, summon demons, and more. Some are intricately connected to the Sentinels; however, alliances are never guaranteed, and friends among them can turn to foes in the blink of an eye.

But for the most part, this series is about a young, smart, and sexy lady in her early twenties,  discovering her powers, looking for love, and balancing her day job with her secret life full of exciting paranormal challenges.
